Organisation Development Consultant and Facilitator

Results oriented and solutions focused, for more than 20 years Michelle has been applying her leadership & management, business consultation, coaching and facilitation skills to help executives, business owners, individuals and organisations realise their potential. She has worked nationally and internationally for and with organisations to significantly grow their business revenues, profits, people and customer value. As a Senior Executive she has held direct responsibility for business and international operations.

Michelle has a passion for people development and enhancing overall business performance. She believes business outcomes are reliant upon the clarity, focus, engagement and empowerment of individuals and teams within and draws on her extensive experiences to assist others to see beyond surface issues and act accordingly. She is passionate about creating value and engaging the customer – both internal (staff/teams) and external, as a blueprint for organisation success. Her natural leadership inclination is for driving change and innovation with a key focus on delivery of results. Her areas of focus and specialization include building and enhancing business performance, growth of marketing/sales revenues and profitability, developing people, teams and systems to innovate, support and deliver.

Qualifications

Michelle is a Senior Consultant and Executive Coach. She holds an internationally recognised Master Coaching accreditation and is a member of the International Coaching Council and a member (CAHRI) with the Australian Human Resources Institute. She is studying towards an MBA at the University of Western Australia.

She has held various Senior Executive Management and Director roles including positions with national and multinational responsibility. She has led and managed organisations and operations of various size and nature including Harvey World Travel, Jetset, ICSA T, Coles Myer, WMC Resources and also established the Australasian operations for a global IT provider. She has also held Board/Director positions with various subsidiary companies.

Michelle has experience across many industries – building tourism, hospitality, mining/resources, banking, retail, health, building, IT/Ecommerce, community service and direct sales. Michelle has significant experience in the Franchising arena and specifically in the development and implementation of business reviews and performance improvement coaching programs for both people and organisations. She also has experience with the development and implementation of business growth strategies including acquisitions and negotiation of an international Master Franchise agreement.

Consulting and Facilitation experience

Michelle has been coaching and consulting professionally over the last 20 years in various capacities. She believes in using her experiences and knowledge to grow and develop others without creating dependence.

Michelle has extensive consulting experience, having established her own management consultancy successfully procuring significant international contracts within the first year of operation. Her consulting experience includes Facilitation of Strategic and Business plans for small/medium enterprises in Australia and New Zealand, the development and implementation of Strategic HR initiatives including leadership, talent and management development programmes, performance management systems and improving HS&E performance to resolving issues impeding the rollout of a global IT project.

A key area of specialisation relates to the development of Marketing and Sales programs where she has consulted and managed to reposition Brands and achieve significant sales results resulting from new and enhanced Customer, Sales and Marketing training and initiatives. Michelle believes a compelling Customer vision is essential to support a high performing Sales and Marketing team. With

a proven marketing and sales track record, Michelle facilitates practical sales workshops and coaching programs designed to deliver sustained results.

As an experienced facilitator, Michelle has delivered a variety of workshops including Strategic and Operational Planning, Strategic Marketing, Sales and Customer Service workshops, Project Planning, Culture & HR related topics including managing difficult conversations,. She has also extensive experience with the facilitation of individual performance conversations assisting Management teams gain traction with individual employees. Michelle is also experienced in the facilitation of outcomes for Directors and Boards that result in greater alignment and communication.

Coaching experience

As a coach, Michelle has coached and mentored Senior Executives, Business Owners and Managers in both private and public sectors in Australia and New Zealand. Her coaching style is challenging yet supportive and open to encourage one to embrace and act upon new possibilities.
